Lil Wayne Gives Mom a Wheelchair
Wayne came to know about Evelyn through letters which were written to him while he was incarcerated.
After receiving the motorized wheelchair, Evelyn stated, “I didn’t know Wayne before now, but I do know him now and I thank him, I really thank him. He didn’t even know me and he got me a chair. I pray and ask God to bless him.”

MTV VMA predix: Chris Brown will beat Usher and Lil Wayne
Wow. Not only do our two experts agree on who'll win the prize for best male video at the MTV Video Music Awards this Sunday, but David "Guru" Schnelwar and Darrin "DoubleD" Dortch actually rank all five contenders the same order!
BEST MALE VIDEO: DOUBLED'S RANKING
1. Chris Brown, "With You"
2. Lil Wayne, "Lollipop"
3. Usher, "Love in This Club"
4. Flo Rida, "Low"
5. T.I., "No Matter What"
This is going to Chris Brown as a consolation for losing the big prize. He's had such a
commercially successful year, much like past winners Justin Timberlake and Usher, and he won't be denied. Lil Wayne has also had a big year, but Brown is more MTV friendly and Wayne will be rewarded elsewhere. One-hit wonder Flo Rida has no chance; Usher has zero buzz for his album and T.I. won't win this category for a video that's barely getting play on MTV.
BEST MALE VIDEO: GURU'S RANKING
1. Chris Brown, "With You"
2. Lil Wayne, "Lollipop"
3. Usher, "Love in this Club"
4. Flo Rida, "Low"
5. T.I., "No Matter What"
I think Chris Brown is the front-runner. He had the most music videos released this year of the five nominees. He also gave the best performance at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards and had a dance-off with Mike Myers at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards.
Lil Wayne is the biggest seller and the Itquot rapper of 2008. He may upset.
Usher won in this category in 2004 and repeat winners do occur in this category.

Gun charges???
According to TMZ, Wayne's camp claims that the New Orleans bred rapper failed to show because of a dental condition that restricts him from driving. A reason for Berg's no-show was not given.
Wayne's gun charges from a 2007 arrest. A .40 caliber handgun was found by authorities in his tour bus last July following a performance with Ja Rule at Manhattan’s Beacon Theatre.
Wayne, who has pleaded not guilty to the weapons possession charges, faces to three and a half years in prison if convicted.
Berg's gun charges stem from an arrest this past weekend. He also faces charges of marijuana possession and menacing.
Wayne owes a Milli. Owes for jewelry too.

A Miami-Dad Circuit Judge ruled and approved the order that will make Lil Wayne responsible for paying the bill stating “which sum shall bear interest at the rate of 11 percent a year.” Lil Wayne is expected to return the ring instead of paying the bill. Wayne's lawyer Ron Sweeny said “We reached a settlement,” finishing, “Everybody’s happy.”
In related news, it's reported that Lil Wayne owes nearly $1 million dollars to the IRS for an income tax issue. The Miami Herald obtained a federal tax lien notice saying Weezy owes $977,840.81, but Lil Wayne's lawyer says “it’s been paid” claiming the payment has yet to be recorded.

Lil Wayne says 50 Cent is 'The Hardest N**** On The Planet'

And who'd argue with that!
The beef between the two rappers has been on going since 50 branded Lil Wayne a 'Whore' for this countless features with other artists.
Lil Wayne responded to allegations thanking 50 Cent for the press attention "N****, white people know me now! Thank you! Diss rhyme? F*** no! That n**** thrives off that. I am not feeding that tiger. I’m smart."
Although it may seem Lil Wayne is backing down, he's laughing all the way to the bank as he remains the no. 1 spot on MTV's "TRL" and has topped the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for the first time in his career for his single "Lollipop."
No doubt 50 will have something to say about that!!!
Lil' Wayne Stars In New "Fast & The Furious" Flick

flick.
"I'm really excited that Usher is opening the show," BET's executive vice president Stephen Hill told Billboard. "I'll give you a little tidbit - Lil' Wayne is probably closing the show. So, we have a grand opening and grand closing."
Lil' Wayne has racked up three nods for "The BET Awards," with nominations for "Best Male Hip-Hop Artist;" the "Viewer's Choice" award for his hit "Lollipop;" and "Best Collaboration" for DJ Khaled's "I'm So Hood (Remix)." The award show is set to air on June 24.
Wayne is also in talks to appear in the upcoming movie, The Fast and Furious 4. He let the cat out of the bag during last week's "BET Awards" press conference. The flick, which is scheduled to hit theatres in 2009, stars the original Fast and The Furious cast; Paul Walker, Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez.
While Weezy is still in talks with the Fast and the Furious producers, he has secured a role in the upcoming Forest Whitaker film Patriots, which began filming in Wayne's New Orleans hometown this month. The movie will also star rapper/actor Bow Wow and is set to open in theaters in November.
